When does compromise become capitulation? At what point does negotiation turn into exploitation? Many Conservatives believe we are well beyond these points in terms of our relationship with the Republican Party. We are tired of being told by Party leaders that we must compromise. We are fed-up with Liberal candidates telling us to “calm down.” We are sick of casting our vote by choosing between the lesser of two evils. Conservatives are saying “enough is enough.”
Moderates within the Republican Party have nearly destroyed the Conservative movement in our country. It’s time for Conservatives to take a stand on principle. This may mean that Republican-endorsed candidates will need to lose some elections. It may even mean that we may need to birth a new Party to safeguard our values. But we need to decide which is more important – winning elections or defending our values.
This much is for certain. If we fail to act soon, the America that was founded by our forefathers will cease to exist. Our inaliable rights of liberty and freedom will be suppressed by socialism and State dominance. We must decide to take a stand to defend our principles and rebuild the conservative movement within our nation. We must decide to defend the legacy of America for future generations.
